Founded from Humberstones (qv). Dated 1834. Rectangular plan, rendered
walling. Hipped modern tile roof. Plain frieze band all round on angle
pilasters. Entrance (south-east) has central semi-circular ashlar porch
with cornice, blocking course, and pilasters flanking double panelled doors
each side; half dome lead-covered roof with ogee ribs capped by poppyhead.
Above is a bracketted and pedimented moulded tablet inscribed "1834 Independant
Chapel". Tall arched window with small panes, some coloured, in plain
stone architrave, each side of porch. Side elevations have 3 similar windows
and arched doorway with fanlight.
