Circa 1701. Red brick; 2 storeys; 2 sash windows, that to left of 2 lights; moulded
wood doorcase with pedimental weather-hood, and 6-panelled-fielded door; toothed eaves;
hipped slate roof. Upper room retains original plain fireplace. Once the hone of
Joseph Priestly, the discoverer of oxygen. Long unoccupied and dilapidated.
