A much altered and largely restored Elizabethan building converted into 2 houses.
No 65 has well restored timber framing with plaster and cement infilling, painted
black and white; 2 storeys; projecting gabled wing to left with 2 overhangs and
restored barge boards; pentagon bay projects at right with 1st floor overhang
and flat roof; modern or restored casement windows with leaded lights; restored
doorway to centre; old tiles. No 67 has roughcast front to original timber frame;
gable on left with 2 overhangs; 2 iron casement windows, probably C17, with small
leaded panes and C18 sashes; C18 doorcase with pediment and side lights; old
tiles. Interiors: C18 staircases, that to No 67 has Chinese Chippendale influence;
some dado panelling.
