Public house. Early/mid C18 with small C19 addition to left, and mid/late C19
former outbuilding at right angles on right. Squared coursed ironstone. Thatched
roof has coped gable parapets; brick end stacks. Additions of brick; right wing
whitewashed. Slate roofs. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Central late
C20 part-glazed door and hood. Late C20 two-light top hung casements to ground
floor. Blackened wood lintels. First floor has old 3-light casements. Glazing
bars throughout. Left range has late C20 half-glazed door. 2-window right wing
has two C20 doors, with small porch in angle. 2-light casements with glazing
bars. First floor has door. Painted brick segmental arches. Interior: open
fireplace has fire window and ogee stop-chamfered beam.
