Covered lychgate. c1890. Timber framed with plastered infill on stone
waist high walls. Old tiled roof. In West country cusped bracing style of
timber framing, formed in small panels. Cusped braces to ridge. Diagonal
cusped braces to side walls . Gates have large diagonal braces and scrolled
standards; large braces to each side of passage way. Roof set at right angles
to passage.
