Stables and haybarn ranges to former inn, now farm buildings.
Built in early 1830s in brick. South east elevation in rubblestone,
brick dressed. Slate roofs letter-L plan with long stable frontage
to road of 2 storeys, Corner cottage, then to south west covered way
link to haybarn. Forms 2 sides of courtyard to Inn Farmhouse. Road
front has tall pilaster strips dividing it into bays, vent slits
to upper floor. Corner cottage 2 storeys with modern casements.
Haybarn has vent slits in patterns, brick dressed, coped gables, some
windows inserted. Facilities for 80 horses, but coaching trade
collapsed on arrival of railways and inn became a farm.
