Here lieth the body of Clement Throckmorton Esquire the third sone of Sr. George Throckmorton Knight and Katharine Nevill his wife, the first and eldest Daughter of Edward Nevill Knight; of whom he begat six sons and seven daughters.

He departed this world, the Sunday being the 15 of December in the year of our Lord God 1573 and in the sixteenth yeare of the reigned of our most gracious and soveraine lady Queen Elizabeth.
