C17 farmhouse in coursed limestone rubble, with old clay tile roof and brick
stacks. The main block has its long axis to the road. Large 3-room plan,
with integral gable end stacks behind flat stone coped gables; one stack is
opposite the front door. Two storeys and attics. Road elevation has one
ground floor original window under wooden lintel to east of 4-panelled front
door with flat door hood on side brackets on simple pilaster supports. First
floor has two original windows at east end, one blocked at west end. Early
C19 rear wing in local red brick with darker headers, old clay tile roof. Two
storeys. Modern windows and blocked door under large gauged flat arches.
