Late C18 house, altered C19. Coursed limestone rubble, new tiled mansard
roof. 2 storey and attics. Large 2-room plan with central front door. Two
integral brick gable end stacks and flat coped modernised gable ends. Front
elevation has recessed front door, four panels under four lights; flat hood on
brackets with fluted pilaster supports. Smaller casement immediately to east
of front door, C19 canted bay to west; 4-light casement under timber lintel at
east end. First floor has three casement windows of 4 and 3-lights under
timber lintels. Two box dormers with slightly cambered heads. The C19 rear
wing is probably contemporary with the changes to the front elevations.
Painted red brick, slate roof, large brick central stack.
