C17 or early C18 cottage, former smithy. Colour-washed plaster over stone front wall and timber-framed rear wall, thatched roof. Main western part has three roam plan with back-to-back hearth between eastern two rooms. One storey and attics. Front elevation has two three-light and two two-light casements on ground floor, and three gabled dormers with two-light casements. One storey extension to east, former forge.
