Village school dated 1861 with school house attached, in ornel style.
Coursed limestone, clay tile roof with large diamond pattern formed by single
line of darker tile. T plan school with house attached making irregular H
plan. Schoolroom at south end, gable end to road: large bargeboard with
relief inscription, drop finial in apex above clock set in wall; gable end
has large 2-light stone mullion and transom window. Central part facing road
has two gabled dormers with pierced bargeboards. School house at north end
of road elevation has gable end with projecting eaves on large moulded
brackets, plain bargeboards. Three dormers to south elevation, large square
stone porch. Similar detail to other elevations.
