Substantial isolated early C17 farmhouse with C19 additions and renovations.
Coursed limestone rubble and some local brick in chequer pattern with light
headers. Old clay tile roof. Cruciform plan with central double sided
chimney having four square brick stacks set diagonally. Two storeys and
attics. Single storey extensions in angles of cross plan.
North wing has eight small widely splayed ground floor windows; west wing has
three central sashes with glazing bars and brick dressings; south wing in C19
brick has ground floor French windows, first floor and attic sashes, all with
glazing bars, also serrated bargeboards. Probably former Park Keeper's Lodge.
