Farmhouse of C16 or C17 origins, with C19 alterations and extensive
restoration with P.O.W. labour in 1940s. Timber frame partly replaced with
local brick, also used as infill material. Thatch. L-plan, with two
limestone rubble stacks, one external. One storey and attics. Windows and
doors modern. Late C16 stone fireplaces reputed to have come from Bletsoe
Castle.
