Cottages of late C17 or early C18 century origins, on corner site. No. 39
fronts Church Lane, colour washed plaster over timber frame, thatch, central
brick stack. Three room plan, one storey and attics. Central gabled dormer
with 3-light casement. Three ground floor casements facing Church Lane.
No. 41 at right angles fronting road to Church Lane. Similar construction,
two room plan, one storey.
