House. Early C18, apparently encasing an earlier structure. Red brick front
with chequerwork patterning of vitrified headers. C20 tile roof. 2-room plan,
2 storeys and attics. Symmetrical facade. Ground and first floors each have
2 sashes with glazing bars in wide wood cases almost flush with wall. First
floor has blind central window. Ground floor windows have gauged brick flat
arches. Attic has 2 box dormers containing sashes with glazing bars. Central
doorway has 6-panel door, approached by 2 steps, set in a simply moulded
architrave with flat cornice hood. Rendered plinth. Brick band at first
floor level. In line with doorway is substantial multiple ridge stack,
apparently rebuilt C20.
