1880s. Prominent 3 storey and attic painted brick corner block in asymmetrical
design. Rounded corner to Duke Street. Tiled roof, grey brick chimneys with
tumbled red brick bases and brick decorative banding and cogging to caps.
Corbelled feature to corner, probably a former chimney. 3 train windows to
2nd floor with hipped gables over, 2 and 3 light windows with shaped mullions
and reveals, plate glass sashes. Taller hipped 3 light dormer in centre.
Decorative band over 1st floor, brick block eaves cornice. Ground floor retains
3 original piers, altered. No 2B is a lower 3 storey extension with gable
over lancet on 2nd floor and 1 window to. lst floor. Early C20 shop front ground
floor.
