Cottage. Dated 1621 on lintel. Octagonal timber framed and plastered, brick
plinth. Circular thatched roof. Circular red brick chimney stack. One storey
and attics with gabled rear dormer. 2 steps approach the vertically boarded
door with simple pediment over. AD1621 inscribed on lintel. A similar door to
left. Right and left small paned casement windows, pentice boards over. The
building is similar to those on Canvey Island, q.v. Castle Point District, 3/1
and 3/2.
