Former house. C16/C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed and plastered. Red tiled roofs. 3 red brick chimney stacks. Left range with gabled crosswing to right. 3 vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars and horns to first floor. C20 shop front in C18 style with continuous facia and base, pilasters with moulded capitals and bases and 3 small paned bows, the door with lower panel, small paned upper glazing and side lights. Internally most features are covered but pairs of heavy jowled storey posts are visible to the first floor of the crosswing, a C18 roof to left range, side purlin pegged at ridge, and stick baluster staircase at rear.
