House. C17 or earlier with later additions and alterations. Timber framed,
plastered brick facing. Red plain tiled roofs. Central range with gabled
crosswings to right and left. Red brick chimney stack to each range. One
storey and attics. Gabled dormer to central range, 2 flat headed dormers to
right return. 1:1:1 window range of vari-light casements; segmental heads. C20
porch to main range. Interior features include, meat hooks to kitchen ceiling
beams, vertically boarded doors with original hinges, inglenook fireplace of
brick with C16 chamfered jambs and springing altered C17 with mantel beam,
semi-circular back. Stop chamfered bridging joists. 4 moulded cast iron fire
surrounds, one marble fire surround.
