House and former stable block. Now house. c1830, altered and
extended late C19. Painted stucco, low pitched slate roof with
coped gable ends. Rectangular plan with extensions on west.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 3 chimneys with offset heads and louvered
terracotta pots. Plinth, narrow band at ground floor sills,
plat band at first floor sills. Heavy moulded cornice and
blocking course. Sash windows with glazing bars to house,
casement windows to former stable block.
Entrance (south) front: 3 bays with one bay set back on left.
Tripartite sash windows on ground floor, single sash windows
on first floor, all with moulded architraves. Central entrance
door part glazed, plain cornice head and rectangular
overlight, in moulded architrave. Doorcase of square columns,
modified entablature and pediment.
INTERIOR: vandalised when surveyed. Stair balusters and
fireplace removed. Some window shutters remain. Ceiling
cornice in hall enriched with bead and reel and floral
ornament.
