Former farmhouse, now house. Late c16, remodelled c1700, and with later alterations.
Coursed rubble gritstone with quoins, coped gables with moulded kneelers, intermediate
and gable end ridge stacks, stone slates and plain tiles. Irregular 'T' plan with the
rear range retaining much late C16 work. West elevation; two storeys, four bays,
that to the south end an outbuilding. 2-light windows to first floor above ground
floor, 3-light openings, all with shallow chamfers to mullions and with C20 leaded
lights to casements. Doorway centrally placed between windows with quoined
surround and deep lintel, with shallow bracketed hood. Six panelled door, with
upper two panels glazed. At first floor level, above doorway, circular window in
square surround, with C20 leaded light. Outbuilding has two plain door openings, one
to ground floor, one to overloft, both with plank doors. Rear wing has low, deeply
recessed chamfer mullioned windows of 2, 3 and 4-lights, and a doorway with a
chamfered quoined surround, Tudor-arched door lintel and boarded two panel door.
Gable to rear wing carries projecting shouldered stone stack. Remains of a
chamfered plinth course to rear wing north elevation.
