A terrace of three cottages, formerly six. Early C19, altered
C20. Coursed squared coal measures sandstone rubble, with
ashlar dressings, quoins, cusp-moulded stonework to west gable,
plain gable to east end. Gable and ridge brick stacks, except
to the west gable, which is of ashlar. Welsh slates to front
roof slope, corrugated sheeting to rear. Two storeys, eight
bays, formerly with six doorways, three now adapted to form
2-light windows with massive quoined surrounds and lintels with
arched soffits. The two end cottages are double fronted, with
stacked 3-light casements beneath segmental arched heads. The
remaining dwellings originally single bay now combined to form a
third dwelling to the centre of the range, or to supplement the
end cottages. Plain doors.
