Methodist Chapel and attached
wall and railings

GV II

Chapel. Dated 1847. Rubble limestone with sandstone dressings. Slate roof
with stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Main facade of squared sandstone.
Flush quoins. Single storey. West elevation - Central gabled porch, doorway with
shouldered segmental arch and plank door. Foundation stone above inscribed
Wesleyan Methodist Chapel 1847. Flanked on each side by round-arched windows with
slightly projecting keystones. Gothic glazing bars. Front area enclosed by
a rubblestone retaining wall with flat copings and iron railings.
