4/115 Shippon immediately to the south of
Shute Farmhouse

Farm building formerly shippon. Circa late C18 or early C19. Slate rubble walls.Hipped slate roof. Rectangular plan with shippon on ground floor and loft above.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Front has 4 doorways, 2 partly blocked to become windows,
flat stone arches above. On 1st floor is 2-light window opening to the right.
Row of pigeon holes to its left. To right of centre is a vertical straight joint
suggesting that some rebuilding has taken place, although the stonework and
doorways to either side are identical.
