Probably a workshop and cartshed with loft above. Circa mid C19. Local
slate rubble. Scantle slate half-hipped roof.
Plan: Rectangular on plan with slightly bowed right hand (south) end and
large double door at centre of west front and narrow doorway to left at rear
and with loft above. Attached to south west corner of house (Church Wells
qv).
Exterior: 2 storeys. A symmetrical 3-window west front. Wide cart entrance
to left of centre with large chamfered timber lintel and plank double doors,
above the lintel a slate drip mould which serves as a cill to the loft
doorway above, which has a timber lintel and plank door. To left and right
on first floor and to left on ground floor C19 2-light casements with
vertical glazing bars and overlapping panes and with timber lintels and
slate sills. Similar C19 overlapping-pane windows at rear, 2 on first floor
and one on ground floor and a plank door on the right. Similar C19 but 3-
light overlapping-pane window on bowed right hand (south) end with slate
sill; the C19 casement above has 4 large panes and a slate sill. The left
hand (north wall is bland.
