Formerly 2 adjoining cottages, now in single occupation. Probably early C18 with
C20 alterations. Painted roughcast rendered stone rubble and cob. Asbestos slate
roof with gable ends, lower ridge level to smaller cottage to right. Brick shaft to
stack at left gable end with offsets. Rendered stack at right gable end.
Plan: Left-hand cottage symmetrical 2-room and central staircase plan, smaller
right-hand cottage of 1-room direct entry plan, the staircase removed.
2 storeys. 3-window range, symmetrical to left-hand cottage. Early C20
fenestration, all 2-light casements 6 panes per light except ground floor left which
has 8 panes per light. C20 gabled porch. Raised and fielded 6-panelled inner door,
the middle panels glazed. Right-hand cottage has single 3-light window 3 panes per
light above brick porch with gabled tiled roof to left of 2-light casement 6 panes
per light.
Interior: Principally altered in C20 but some C19 joinery survives.
