Cottage. Probably C18, altered in C20. Roughcast rendered stone rubble and cob.
Half-hipped thatch roof. Axial brick stack.
Plan: room to each side of entrance passage containing staircase, the left-hand room
divided axially to create a small rear scullery, the right-hand room formerly the
kitchen. In C20, the integral outbuilding at the right end, formerly used as a pigs
house with chamber over and originally with separate front access, was taken in to
form part of dwelling and front doorway blocked.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 3-window range. Principally C20 2-light casements except at
right end which has a 3-light casement 3 panes per light. Early C20 porch with
gabled slate roof and 4-panelled inner door, the upper 2 panels glazed.
Interior: entirely altered in mid C20. The kitchen fireplace survives concealed
behind C20 grate.
