Cl7 farmhouse now as two cottages. Pebbledashed, pantiled roof with end chimneys,
stone copings and kneelers, two storeys and attic, three bays. Modern casements.
Victorian central gabled porch with paired doors set back. Interior plain but
roof construction similar to other late C16 and early Cl7 examples in County
Durham, being supported on pairs of stout curved timbers (curved principals or
upper crucks) with collars and through-purlins.
