Row of three 1-room cottages, now house. Probably C18. Plastered cob on rubble
footings; rubble stacks with C19 brick; thatched roof. 2 storeys facing north.
Now 3 rooms each floor. Axial stack between centre and left rooms and cob wall
between centre and right. Right end fireplace. Right end hipped, left half-
hipped. Irregular fenestration since each former cottage had a door and window on
ground floor but only right and centre cottages had first floor windows to front.
Right; cottage has early C20 casement blocking former door flanked by heart and
diamond motifs sunk into surface plaster, as plaster decoration. To its right a 2-
light fixed pane window with slender timber mullion and 18 small square leaded
panes each side. Similar glazing to 3-light timber window over blocked door with
10 panes each light. Other windows C20 wooden casements. Present door to centre
room with C20 thatched porch on rustic posts. Interior with plain carpentry
detail.
