Pair of cottages. Circa early C19. Stuccod stone rubble walls. Gable ended slate
roof. 1 central rendered axial stack.
Each cottage has single-fronted probably double-depth plan with entry passage at the
outer side. The central stack serves both cottages although it is not clear whether
both their rooms are heated.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window front, each cottage has identical 1-window facade.
Original small-paned 2-light casements, the ground floor windows retain their 'pin-
hinges' for external shutters which have now gone. To left and right ends are
probably original plank doors under gabled doorhoods. All ground floor openings
have slate dripstones above.
Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
