House and shop. C16, extended C17 to C18. Timber framed and tile hung on 1st
floor with red brick on ground floor, with plain tiled roof. Two parallel
ranges, the earlier range probable hall none with cross-wing, fronted C17/C18.
Entrance front (left return to roadside): 2 storeys to half hipped roof with
stacks to left and to right, with oversailing hip of cross-wing to centre
right. Four 3 light leaded metal casements on 1st floor, and 4 leaded metal and
wooden casements on ground floor. Door of 6 panels to centre in moulded
pilaster surround with open pediment. Right return (roadside) glazing bar sash,
with glazed door below to front range. Rear range with half-hipped roof, with
leaded casements to garret and 1st floor, and 3 large C20 mullioned and
transomed windows to ground floor, that to right in catslide outshot. Cross-
wing roof to rear joining the 2 ranges.
