14/13 Vine House

GV II

House. Late C18 with late C19-C20 alterations and additions. Brown brick
in Flemish bond. L-shaped on plan: 3-room front with entrance hall to right
of centre; outshut to rear and later extension to rear right. 2 storeys, 4
bays. Symmetrical 3-bay front to right with late C19 panelled door and
plain overlight in pilaster doorcase with plain entablature and hood on
brackets, flanked by flat-roofed wooden canted bay windows with sashes,
similar entablatures and bracketed hoods. C20 glazed door and 12-pane
sliding sash to left. Three first floor 16-pane sashes and one 12-pane sash
above entrance, in flush wood architraves with stucco flat arches and
projecting cills. Stepped eaves. Brick coped and tumbled gables with
shaped stone kneelers. C19-C20 rebuilt end stacks and axial stack to left.
