Abbey Church of St Alban

A Grade I Listed Building in St Albans, Hertfordshire

Wall painting in the Nave

Uploader's Comments

St. Alban and St. Amphibalus on Nave Pier 4. This overlooked the shrine of St. Amphibalus which stood in the Nave. The central portion has been defaced, maybe because it showed the relic which Amphibalus gave to his pupil at their parting.
