Formerly known as "Saracen's Head". With Nos 13, 15 and 17.
C16 houses, re-fronted circa 1700, each 2 storeys, 2 windows. High
pitched, tiled roofs with deep, modillioned eaves cornices. All
plastered fronts.
Nos 19 and 21: 1st floor sash windows with glazing bars in near-flush,
moulded frames.
Ground floors unified by series of shop fronts. Earlier C19 reproduction
with dentilled cornice, triglyphs in fascia, Tuscan pilasters at sides
and attached columns in centre. Carriageway at left of No 21 with old
timber work and some weatherboarding. All houses have gabled, rear
extensions of C17 appearance.

Nos 1 to 25 (odd) form a group.
