Farmhouse. Substantial C15 hall house, reduced and altered in
mid C17. Timber frame, cased in painted brick and roughcast.
Plain tile roof, half-hipped on ends. 2 storeys, with a 2-
storeyed gabled porch on centre E side forming a T plan. 3
casements. The porch has a segmental-headed door arch flanked
by blank oval panels; similar panel on right return wall. Heavy
plinth. Within the porch and offset to right isa large C15
moulded wood door frame with 3-centred head and chamfered
spandrels. On the centre of the ridge is a C17 red brick stack
with 3 diagonal shafts, and on the N end elevation is a large C18
oven stack with 3 separate square shafts. Interior retains
structure of open hall.
