2 icehouses with a single entrance. After 1816, to store ice for St.
Ibbs (q.v.). Red brick, in Flemish bond in passages. 2 underground
chambers for storing ice presumably from lake in the park to the E. Each
about 5M diameter conical brick lined well covered by a brick dome and
entered at springing level of dome, by a segmental arched vaulted
passage about 1M wide and about 3M long with checks for 2 or more doors
in each passage. Outer doors adjoin where passages meet at right angles
with one passage extending further to N as entrance (now collapsed).
The other passage branches off to W. Chambers partly filled by rubbish
and earth.
