Block of 2 houses. Early C18. Timberframed roughcast with steep
old red tile hipped roof. A tall rectangular block of 2 similar
2 storeys houses sharing a central red brick chimney. Each house
has 2 windows on each floor with a central plank door under a
lean-to tiled-canopy, single storey rear lean-to addition. 2-
light wooden casement windows. No 2, on right, has diamond
leaded glazing. A large heated room on Ground floor with narrow
end room with staircase. Modern rear wing to No 2 not of special
interest. An historic block of timberframed plastered houses,
little-altered. Part of the picturesque group around the pump at
the centre of the village Conservation Area.
