GV II
House. Late C16 or C17, part cased early to mid C19, extended and
altered C20. Timber frame with red brick nogging. Part refronted in
stock brick. Tiled roof. 2 bays. 1 storey and attic. Entrance in right
bay with hood and C20 2 light casement to right. Exposed framing, posts,
mid rail and studs. Left bay has a C20 3 light casement in stock brick.
Two C20 2 light dormers. Right gable end exposed cambered tie beam and
queen struts. C17 external stack with flint base and offsets, flanking
oven lean-tos. Exposed studs to rear. C20 dormers. Entrance in 1 storey
C20 rear addition. Interior: stop chamfered binding beams and fireplace
lintel. Braced wall plates and tie beams to clasped purlin roof.
