House. Possibly C17 in origin, but very much rebult early C19 and later. High
dressed stone plinth, colourwashed render over brick above, hipped roof of C20
interlocking tiles, brick chimneys. 2 storeys and cellars; 3 bays. Off-set
eaves. Outer bays have late C19 tripartite sashes. Slightly to right of centre
are an earlier C19 sash with marginal glazing, and a late C19-C20 4-centred arch
to recessed 6-panelled door. Door is approached by stone steps. Large rear
wing with later C19 colourwashed brick extension to far end. Interior has early
narrow brick in cellar walls, and fragments of reused timbers. Included for
group value.
