Small house, formerly lodge to No 36, The Cedar (qv). Early C19 with C20 exten-
sion. Whitewashed render, slate roof, flanking rendered chimneys. In Gothick
style. 2 storeys; 2 narrow bays. Chamfered plinth, slight moulded eaves with
central moulded projection. Ground floor has arcade of 3 slightly recessed
semi-circular arches with small fluted keyblocks. Outer arches contain 2-light
arched windows with wooden Y-tracery and glazing bars. Similar window to centre
of first floor in wide recessed lunette with larger keyblock. Central false
door, flush-panelled, with small triangular fanlight and later wooden architrave
frame. C20 first floor rear extension, of timber, on posts.
