Barn. C17. Timber frame dark weatherboarded but partly nogged in red
brick. Steep old red tile roof with bellcast at eaves. A tall 3-bays
barn facing S with double doorway in middle bay. Stepped jowled posts
with straight braces to tie-beams. Mid-height rails tenoned in-line.
Straight braces at corners and 2 in central bay. Clasped purlin roof
with inclined queen struts and collar and diminished principals.
Straight wind braces at each end and 2 in central bay. Squint butted
scarf joint in wall plate. (Farmhouse at Bulstrode Farm not listed).
