House, now a public house. C17 or earlier E part, C18 W part, late C18
brick casing to E part, C19 rear wing. Timber frame now only exposed on
upper floor, chequered red brick with black headers to W part. Sandy red
brick in Flemish-bond to E part. Steep old red tile roofs. Slate roof to
rear wing. A 2-cells, 2-storeys house facing N with 1½-storeys W part,
and long single-storey rear wing at SE. N front has irregular
fenestration. E part has 3 1st floor windows. Flush box sashes with 6/6
panes and cambered arches. 2 similar windows on ground floor and one
casement. Projecting hood now glazed in as lobby. Blocked small upper
window to lower W part with a large internal chimney near its E end.
Plastered W end with 3-lights casement window to each floor and blocked
door to LH. Interior has axial chamfered beams and exposed timber
framing on 1st floor.
