Farm House; 1858 for Edmund Probyn (datestone); squared stone,
roughly coursed, with ashlar quoins and dressings; slate roof.
L-plan, 2 storey, with single storey section in part of angle. 4-
window front, with slightly projecting gable to cross wing on left;
ground floor has a 3-light timber mullion and transom window with
single-stone lintel. Above a similar 2-light window, with
datestone in gable. On right, in angle, single-storey gabled
porch, 4-centred chamfered arch to doorway; original 4-panelled
door, top half glazed. To right two 2-light windows on each
floor, with single-light over porch. Gables have parapet copings,
with cross-gablets to projecting kneelers. Chimneys have high
moulded terracotta pots: those to cross wing blown off in 1970's.
