6/152 Scudamore monument, in churchyard
about 4m south of tower, Church
of St. Michael and All Angels

GV II

Chest tomb; Richard Scudamore, died 1829, by I. Preece of Sellack;
stone. Flat lid with moulded edge; sides flat rectangular
margin, with tooled recess to form large, oval panel. Ends similar
but framed by baluster outline, shaped only as end to long sides.
Well cut mixed upper and lower case lettering, a little italic.
