Farmhouse. Early C17, restored late C20. Timber-frame with rendered infill
and tile roof. T-plan, cross-wing aligned north/south, other range extending
east, lateral stack to cross-wing has two brick 6-point star plan shafts.
North front: gabled cross-wing of two storeys with attic lit by a 2-light
casement; first floor: two 2-light casements below a tiled weathering; ground
floor: a 2-light casement; to left a small slightly later bay of two storeys,
first floor: 2-light casement, ground floor: two 2-light casements; range to
right has a 3-light casement on first floor, lean-to C20 timber-framed porch
to left on ground floor with C20 ledged and boarded door. Framing: two square
panels high with straight angle braces to first floor, close-studding to ground
floor. Interior: exposed beams with stopped chamfers. C17 panelling in rear
room of cross-wing.
