1875 by Sir Thomas Brock. A white marble standing figure of Richard Baxter
on an Aberdeen granite pedestal. Baxter, the eminent Stuart Divine was curate,
and later vicar, of Kidderminster 1641-1660. The statue was formerly in the
Bull Ring. Inscription: "In a stormy and divided age he advocated unity and
comprehension pointing the way to the everlasting rest."
