House, divided into two dwellings. Dated 1769 with mid-C19 and mid-C20
alterations and additions. Brick (partly handmade) and plain tiled roof
with end stacks. Two storeys and attic with dormers; dentilled eaves
cornice. Three bays; windows are all of three lights with cambered heads;
central original gabled full dormer has a single-course band at base of
gable beneath which is a circular window with radiating glazing bars.
Either side of the full dormer is a large C20 gabled dormer with a 4-light
leaded casement. Central entrance has a distyle Doric portico and a C20
door within, with a moulded architrave and fanlight. Interior not inspected.
C19 and C20 additions at rear. The single-course band of the central full
dormer is interrupted by a datestone on which is written "Built by/ Thos/
Walker/ 1769".
