7/40 Cockyard Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably late C17 to early C18. Timber-framed, plaster infill,
pantiled roof and external stone end stack with brick shaft. Two structural
bays aligned roughly north-west/south-east. Two storeys. North-east elevation
to road has two windows, symmetrically placed late C19 to early C20 casements,
ground floor masked by pantiled rubble lean-to; entry to right hand side; end
stack to left gable flanked by one window towards east. Undergoing modernisa-
tion at the time of the re-survey (January 1985).
