4/252 Terrace Hall Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably late C17, extended in mid-C20. Timber-frame, brick
infill, tiled roof and off-ridge brick stack with rendered brick extension.
Two bays aligned roughly east/west. Two storeys. South elevation has mid-
C20 lean-to with two steel casements. and glazed door between them, chimney
is rectangular with dentilled brick cornice. West gable has one mid-C20
steel casement to each floor, glazed entry into lean-to on right hand side.
Frame is three panels high from cill to wall-plate, gables have raking
struts from collars to principals, angle-braces from tops of corner posts
to tie-beams and wall-plates. Interior: principal ground-floor room has
straight-cut chamfer stops to heavy ceiling beams.
