4/289 The Old Vicarage

GV II

Vicarage, now house. Mid-C18 with late C19 extensions. Brick, slate roofs
and end stacks. Three storeys. Garden front to south has three-bay C18
part with advanced gabled centre, cogged brick eaves cornice and segmentally-
headed mid-C19 sashes masked by late C19 canted bay window to left and late
C19 two-storey projecting wing to right. The last has square-headed sashes
to each face, a cogged brick eaves cornice and a nodding open pediment
brought forward on stone corbels. Entry to east in gabled late C19 porch.
To the north side is another late C19 brick extension.
